One of the most important aspects of any BPM or BPI project is the executive view of the value of the initiative. The project sponsor or leader must be able to clearly articulate the benefits in order to justify the investment of time and resources. Too many initiatives are delayed, slowed, or stalled because of their weak attachment to strategic business issues. This workshop will focus on the framing of BPM/BPI initiatives as a means of achieving critical business objectives. The Rummler-Brache Methodology is a very powerful toolset for moving from opportunity identification to project prioritization, and then to ultimate deployment and operation. In this workshop, two different response types will be reviewed: • Assess > React > Survive • Assess > Adapt > Thrive We will explore how these types affect the BPM/BPI decisions and opportunities. How to Ensure BPM Supports the Enterprise Strategy will help attendees prepare for project justifications, approvals, and executive discussions. |
